Brandi Chalker
Urban Bazaar
Brandi Chalker, co-owner of Urban Bazaar, is a lifelong Bay Area resident and a graduate of San Francisco State University. She has a background in political activism and community organizing, and owned both a jewelry design business and a Fair Trade retail business prior to the founding of Urban Bazaar. Urban Bazaar, opened in 2010, is a combination of her three biggest passions: local art, Fair Trade, and gardening. The store sells locally made and Fair Trade jewelry, art, and home decor gifts, and has a small plant nursery in its backyard with a focus on small succulents and air plants. Brandi also teaches terrarium making and other crafty workshops at Urban Bazaar. She is excited to be a member of the ISMA Board of Directors, and looks forward to contributing even more to the Inner Sunset community through work with local merchants and the Inner Sunset Park Neighbors organization.
