An illuminated and decorated Inner Sunset business corridor can draw visitors by making our neighborhood vibrant and welcoming in the holiday spirit. Fun decorations and storefront window displays are a fairly inexpensive way to attract customers, while showcasing your products and services.
To celebrate the season, you are invited to highlight your products through a festive window display – whatever that means to you - on Saturday, December 4th, between 5:00pm-8:00pm. ISMA will distribute free holiday lights in advance to help jumpstart your business’ decorating strategies. Prizes will be awarded for the best window displays!
The Inner Sunset Holiday Lights Stroll activities will feature:
Storefront Window Display Competition, with celebrity judges and prizes;
Street musicians and strolling carolers throughout the neighborhood;
Holiday lighting and decorations within the Inner Sunset;
Scavenger hunt, with prizes, to encourage the community to get out and explore the neighborhood and discover or rediscover the small businesses;
Event promotion highlighting ISMA member businesses, specials, sales and/or activities.
This event will be held in conjunction with the Sunset Holiday Mercantile, a two day festive family-friendly market at the San Francisco County Fair Building (9th/Lincoln) in Golden Gate Park, featuring local merchants, makers, artists, children’s activities, live music and more.
